Test/Commissioning Technician

Our Commissioning and Test Field team in Marine Electrical Systems are now looking for an energetic, ambitious and enthusiastic Commissioning and Testfield Technician (m/f/d) to join our team in our Wärtsilä SAM Electronics office in Elmenhorst, Germany.

What will you be doing?

 

In this position, your work will focus on:
•    Lead dedicated product data development projects to improve product data quality and applications across all operations and stakeholders
•    Support product data strategy and governance development. Support cross-functional and cross-business unit efforts to consistent and efficient product data and information management.  
•    Support product data creation and enhancement, the process of collecting, rationalising and implementing corrections, updates, improvements and expansions to product information 
•    Liaison between business units, functional areas and IM to ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, understood and implemented 
•    Develop and maintain a close relationship with key stakeholders to pave the way for speedy development, change management and business impact emerging from product data development    

 

The below will enable you to shine in this role:
•    A Masters or Bachelor’s in electrical technology and Management CCI" Chamber of Commerce and/or equivalent industry experience. 
•    Working knowledge of military documentation and requirements for test procedures.
•    Demonstrable experience in pre commissioning and commissioning of electrical military products
•    Effective technical communication skills
•    Team-oriented personality, collaborating with others to the project(s) smoothly and efficiently.
•    Self-motivated and reliable to take responsibility of your tasks and actions.
•    High attention to detail; with careful and precise working methods. 
•    Resilience when faced with obstacles and/or setbacks
•    Driving license class 3 and willingness to travel. 
•    Knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook and SAP. 
•    Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
