We are seeking a talented marketing professional for the General Manager, ES&O Global Marketing role to lead a team of ambitious professionals in the development and implementation of global marketing initiatives. Working within our ES&O team, we are looking for a leader who can guide, mentor, and support our growing marketing efforts, with timely and successful execution of strategies. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive seamless functional marketing strategy, from regional leaders to engineers and the corporate brand marketing team. We are looking for a creative and energetic change-maker comfortable providing leadership as well as hands-on management of projects and major initiatives. Attention to detail and a highly organized personality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical concepts, is crucial.

 

Scope of Work

• Leads the global marketing team with responsibility for their performance and career growth.

• Works with Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and external communication professionals to develop and execute visibility plans and tactics for the ES&O business unit to support regional business strategy.

• Guides teams—both technical and marketing—in formulating key messages, including value proposition, differentiators, and themes. Ensures incorporation of differentiating content to external and internal stake holders.

• Works effectively and independently in high-pressure team environment to manage multiple tasks in parallel. Ability to quickly adapt to and communicate changes in program schedules and priorities.

• Coordination with internal/external support resources, including designers, writers, and other agency personnel.

• Consistent alignment with ES&O Sales/Marketing, plus corporate communication teams, on content and programs, plus product launches, to ensure success with campaigns to drive brand visibility.

• Utilizes marketing and sales metrics to help evaluate campaign performance and promote future decision-making on marketing and business development strategy.

 

We’re looking for

• BA/BS or international equivalent, MA/MS/MBA a plus.

• Minimum 8+ years’ experience in integrated marketing, partnership marketing and/or branding for B2B marketing campaigns required.

• Experience managing and mentoring teams

• Demonstrated renewable or energy storage marketing experience preferred.

• Ability to develop and drive strategy grounded in data that can create meaningful and actionable insights.

• GTM development and market-entry strategy experience preferred, particularly in focused on Product Marketing.

• You are a communications specialist—deeply collaborative, strategic, creative in mindset, have proven experience in communications strategy development, and have excellent written and verbal communications skills in a variety of contexts.

• Project management skills and understanding how to manage direct and indirect teams to set and achieve priorities in a highly dynamic, complex environment.

• Flexibility to work across global time zones.

• Demonstrated experience building relationships with and influencing internal and external stakeholders.

• Understanding of event marketing best practices and trends.

• Experience in measuring impact of digital campaigns and marketing activity.

• Experience managing a team of vendors.

• You bring an entrepreneurial spirit with a desire for learning. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to be hands on and decisive.

• Bilingual, trilingual, or more!

• Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, additional automation tools a plus.

• Prior digital marketing experience, especially SEO, web maintenance/development, highly desirable.

• Experience with Adobe product suite.

• Prior start-up experience.

For applicants that reside in NY, the salary range/hourly wage range is $ 117,306  -   217,854.

For applicants that reside in CA/CO/WA, the salary range/hourly wage range is $150,000 - $185,000.

 

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.  Eligibility to participate in: the discretionary incentive plan assigned to the level of position upon offer of employment; medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) plan and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms; Company-paid benefits such as life insurance, short- and long-term disability, subject to applicable waiting periods.  Paid time off (PTO) is accrued on a per-pay period basis in accordance with tenure in the Company; a new hire can expect 17 days per year. Twelve (12) Company-paid holidays.
