Wärtsilä is looking for an Agreement Manager in Ewekoro, Nigeria for a 12 month + extendable contract, to play a pivotal role in driving plant performance and customer value. In this role, you will manage mid-sized to large plant operations with significant contractual responsibility, ensuring commitments are met and business outcomes are achieved.

Main responsibilities:
- Manages the overall service delivery at customer plant to meet agreed commercial and operational targets.
- Leads the plant organization and activities, ensuring optimal performance of customer plant and that maintenance and operations are performed safely, effectively, and in compliance with contracts.
- Leads and develops plant personnel, planning activities, setting objectives, monitoring performance, and providing technical and operational guidance and training for professional growth.
- Is accountable for the commercial and operational performance in line with contractual obligations.
- Drives continuous improvement in plant processes and performance metrics, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Engages with customers and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and ensure alignment with contractual and operational expectations.
- Manages the plant budget, resources, being accountable for financial and operational performance.
- Manages and develops plant resources, workforce and capabilities to meet current and future business needs.
- Ensures compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, promoting a safe working environment.
Skill-set requirements:
1. Education qualification:
- Engineering degree – Electrical or Mechanical
- Overall, 12 years of experience with atleast 5 years of managerial experience in O&M of a powerplant
- Strong financial term understanding
- Experience in customer relations & customer management
- Experience in Multi-Engine Wartsila Gas Engine Plant in a managerial capacity (Preferably as plant manager)
