We are looking for an Application Engineer with a main responsibility in Power Conversion Systems (PCS). The preferred location for this position is the greater London UK region. We offer hybrid remote work from within the UK.
Your role and responsibilities:
As an Application Engineer PCS, your work will include
- Together with the Product manager, Be the interface between Hardware engineering and Product management, sales engineering/delivery in the expertise Area
- Together with Hardware engineering and software engineering, assist in the development of new suppliers and products
- Provide support to the sales and proposals teams as well as the delivery and service team
- If needed assist the Delivery team with Inspections, trouble shooting and other expert tasks at suppliers and in the Filed
- Develop product technical documentation, including application notes and input to product manuals
- Provide customer feedback and market requirements to the PM organisation for further product development and portfolio management
The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of the Product Management and Application Engineering team with diverse expertise.
Requirements for the position:
- B.sc. or M.sc. degree in Electrical or Power electronics engineering or similar field of study
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- 3-5 years of experience in Energy storage / Renewable energy field.
- Experience in Quality control and Manufacturing Power electronics is considered valuable.
- Newly graduates may also be considered based on their respective merits.
- Solving customer’s needs and issues
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, peers, subordinates, vendors, shop and office in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player attitude internally and externally
- Willing to travel up to 40% of the time
