What will you be doing?

 

This role involves the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control responsibilities in the Order to Cash process. 
 

A key role in the cash flow of the organisation, ensuring that credit terms are monitored and controlled effectively.   Responsible for the debt recovery process within terms agreed and maintaining the accuracy of transactional finance data throughout the process.

 

 As a Credit Controller your work will focus on these responsibilities:

Whilst the team are based in Fareham, we are open to flexible working. Our working week is 37 hours whilst a fixed term 12 month position it is intended this is a full time position due to workload.

 

What will I do daily?:

 

  • Allocate payments to customer accounts daily.
  • Take credit card payments over the telephone from customers.
  • Ensure debts are paid in a timely manner and reduce debtor days by proactively chasing debt by telephone and email, maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity.
  • Investigate and resolve queries relating to non-payment of debt.
  • Reconcile payments to keep keep unallocated cash to a minimum.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the Manager or Senior Credit Controller.

 

The below will enable you to shine in this role:

 

 

You will have an advantage with:

 

  • Experience with SAP and transaction codes
  • An additional European language would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong reconciliation experience is of definite interest to us
  • Experience in a global, multi-location, multi-currency business.
