Field Service Coordinator

Within the UK, Wärtsilä Services provides full lifecycle support for its customers across the marine and energy markets to enhance their business capabilities. With service solutions ranging from spare parts to maximised lifetime, increase efficiency and performance through the provision and maintenance of our product portfolio. 


As a Field Service Coordinator in Wärtsilä UK Ltd, you are providing key support for our Field Service Engineers by managing full lifecycle support from project conception to completion. You will be part of the fast moving developments in the exciting and dynamic maritime world and will become an integral part of our team.


You get the chance to work with passionate likeminded individuals and experience variety in our projects across our martine and land based customer installations and you will be key in providing an efficient and reliable service, maintenance and repair network.


Your office will be located in Fareham, Hampshire and you will be supporting Field Service Engineers on a global basis. 

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?


  • You are responsible for the management of our Field Service Engineers within the UK to ensure effect project delivery across multiple customers in our Energy and Marine businesses
  • Assist with effective work task planning and ensure that accurate quotations are provided and evidenced by accurate reporting
  • Review service reports related to the project and ensure follow ups are conducted in timely and professional manner
  • Provide support in manging customer enquiries related to Enginer Service
  • Inform internal and external stakeholders such as the customer, sales spare parts and account manager, regarding required support
  • Attend customer site visits with internal stakeholders


What do we expect from you?


  • A technical background preferably within a service position is desirebale but not essential
  • Structured, good attention to detail and self-motivated
  • You will have strong communication & problem solving skills.
  • You will have an excellent customer understanding.
  • You will educated to GCSE or equivalent level
  • Willingess to travel to customer site across the UK
