HR Manager - part-time

We are now looking for a

 

Part-time HR Manager (30 hours/week)

 

to join our team working for a better future.

 

The position is permanent, and the preferred location is in Fareham, offering hybrid working.

 

What you will be doing

 

Accountable for delivering robust, commercially focussed advice and guidance in all employee relations and engagement processes and will be paramount in driving HR transformation and operational excellence activities in area of responsibility and support the Head of HR in UK-wide initiatives.

 

 

As HR Manager your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Become a trusted partner and critical friend to local leaders.
  • Manage performance management, attendance, conduct, and other employee relations issues of varying complexity to ensure business needs are met within the legal framework.
  • Develop and deliver employee relations skills-based training to enhance competency within the local organisation.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Oversee gender pay gap reporting and analysis.
  • Actively advise on all C&B elements and processes (annual merit, off-cycle, and achievement bonus).
  • Conduct UK people trend analysis and support action planning.
  • Support the identification and implementation of local organisational development and change initiatives, including entity mergers, harmonisation, and integration.
  • Lead or support local projects as defined by the Head of HR or Regional HR Director.
  • Support the development, updating, and implementation of UK policies and practices in line with local legislation, compliance, and business needs.
  • Lead local wellbeing initiatives and communications.
  • Work with local businesses on employee engagement initiatives to support cultural development in collaboration with BHR and global initiatives.
  • Identify core business competency needs and help design, implement, and deliver local solutions in conjunction with PSH and BHR.
  • Identify management and leadership development needs and support implementation through training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Undertake other relevant activities as required in line with business and departmental needs.

 

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • CIPD level 7 or similar qualification
  • Previous experience in same or similar role
  • HR management experience within the UK
  • Change management experience
  • Strong proven experience within Employee Relations.
  • Effective communication skills and stakeholder management.
