Manager, Data Driven Marketing

Do you know how to best identify and influence everyone involved in B2B decision making?

At Wärtsilä, you would act as the lead in ensuring that we capture as many opportunities as possible, contributing to growth in sales for our two business divisions. Your role will include managing our marketing automation platform (Pardot) and driving its convergence with our CRM platform (Salesforce), acting as a resident expert for lead process development and automation, providing implementation support to businesses in generating smart campaigns and providing customer insight reports as dashboards.

We expect you to be a seasoned expert in the field, who has a view to what the future of digital marketing holds and ensure Wärtsilä gets there before everyone else. Whether by means of execution or development with our core tools, such as Pardot and Salesforce Sales Cloud, you have the desire and ability to understand the actual business reasons behind every action.

This position requires experience of similar responsibilities in B2B context. Please attach any case examples of your previous work and results in the field you already have. Any certificates on the topic are considered a plus.

Where will you be based? Well, somewhat up to you. The corporate Headquarters is in Helsinki, and in this role, you need to build relationships with teams and individuals globally with virtual tools. Thus, you could work in any Wärtsilä location in the Europe time zone.


Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing company level processes, policies, tools and annual plans for digital marketing
  • Make the impact of marketing measurable and visible to internal stakeholders
  • Acting as the chair for our digital marketing forum
  • Acting as an administrator and super user for our Pardot instance
  • Overseeing global communications & branding strategies, concepts, guidelines etc. are applied in marketing automation and data driven marketing
  • Identifying, training and advising users and content producers so that they leverage marketing automation tools and processes in their daily tasks
  • Supporting business marketing plans and campaign execution to increase revenue
  • Developing Wärtsilä’s martech stack towards the cutting edge
  • Building bridges with the Sales and Information Management organisations to seamlessly progress towards an integrated, automated and customer-centric sales & marketing approach
  • Creating dashboards & periodical reporting of actions vs results to demonstrate tangible MROI

 

Requirements:
 

  • Excellent understanding and hands-on experience of marketing automation (minimum 2 years of work experience)
  • Excellent understanding of B2B marketing (minimum 2 years of work experience)
  • Hands on Pardot (certification is preferred) or other enterprise-scale marketing automation platform skills (e.g. Marketo, Eloqua, Marketing Cloud)
  • Hands-on Salesforce or other CRM platform skills (certification preferred)
  • Readiness to learn new things daily
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent social and team skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Proactive, development-minded and goal-focused attitude to work
  • Fluent written and spoken English
