Manager, Global Warehousing (Temporary, 12months)

Wärtsilä Marine Power, Parts Services, WGLS is now looking for a Manager, Global Warehousing to manage our warehouses on a global scale. Currently this includes warehouses in Singapore, United States of America and Finland. You will manage the warehouses according to their own needs and organizational setup whilst ensuring cooperation between them, as well as with our Central Distribution Centre in Kampen(The Netherlands), which is managed by your colleague. You will also participate in developing our global warehousing footprint according to business needs. This is a 12-month temporary position, and preferably located in one of the main WGLS locations in Europe. 



In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the Global Warehousing team within Parts Delivery of Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services

- Active participation in Global Inventory Management and Smart Technology Hub programs

- Being Wärtsilä counterpart for DHL supply chain where applicable
- Improving the services that WGLS provide to our Customers and stakeholders regarding warehousing needs

- Following up on developments and contractual agreements
- Representing Parts Delivery MT in stakeholder management within own responsibility area
- Participating in Parts Delivery MT

We hope you have:
- Experience from working in a managerial position and preferably within logistics
- Experience of working within a global
and multi-cultural environment
- Readiness to travel on a regular basis
- Fluent English skills
, Finnish skills seen as benefit
- Good negotiation and communication skills

- Passion for people, development and results
