Wärtsilä Parts and Field Service is now looking for an enthusiastic Field Service Resource Coordinator, under the Marine Agreements team in Marine Field Services Region Americas.

<span 72="">What will you be doing?

 

<span 72="">As a Field Service Resource Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Field Service Team, under the Marine Agreements team in Marine Field Services Region Americas team in accordance with the strategy, action plan and business needs.

 

<span 72="">This position reports to the General Manager of Field Service Resources for Marine Agreements team in Marine Field Services Region Americas.

 

<span 72="">Candidates are expected to display a high level of critical thinking and reasoning skills, identify as high performers, as well as being self-motivating.

 

<span 72="">Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • <span 72="">Evaluate the Field Service demand during the year and define appropriate actions (including recruiting).
  • <span 72="">Development of your team competencies as required to address current and future needs.
  • <span 72="">Ensure that the team is utilized effectively, having the right people in the right place at the right time.
  • <span 72="">Foster strategic relationships with institutes of leaning to attract and develop talent.
  • <span 72="">Manage and maintain internal and external relationships, focused on achieving company targets.
  • <span 72="">Facilitate good collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the delivery chain (Sales, Lifecycle Support, Agreements, Technical Service).
  • <span 72="">Contribute to the annual budget preparation and service forecast evaluations.
  • <span 72="">Set the individual performance and development targets of your team.

 

<span 72="">Main Requirements:

 

  • <span 72="">Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or technical university or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience in a technical service-minded organization is desired
  • <span 72="">3-5 years of job-related experience with a technical degree and/or bachelor’s degree, and some project management experience or training is required
  • <span 72="">Service management skills and/or experience with coordinating service teams is desirable.
  • <span 72="">Experience within a Mechanical/Maritime environment organization with an international scope is seen as an advantage
  • <span 72="">Understanding of the Field Service process
  • <span 72="">English language proficiency (Spanish and/or Portuguese considered as plus)
  • <span 72="">Be proficient with process tools such as SalesForce (CRM), Qlikview and FS Mobility
