We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and safety-minded Maintenance Management team.
What will you be doing
As a Maintenance Planner, you will prepare maintenance plans, plan scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and overhauls. You will Maintain good communication with Contract Managers and customers. The ideal candidate has an education in Mechanical / Production engineering and is experienced with marine diesel engines.
As a Maintenance Planner, you will focus on these responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation of maintenance plans for each contract in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Planning all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance including equipment that is not engines.
- Building and maintaining good communication with contract managers and customers external providers and other stakeholders in the Wärtsilä organization
- Follow up executed and postponed maintenance tasks and improvements
- Preparing and monitoring maintenance budget for the annual contract budgeting on behalf of the customer
- Assisting in the development of our tools.
- Swing-set planning Requirements (Several components)
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have/be:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical / Productional engineering
- Experience with marine diesel engines
- Basic knowledge and understanding of engine functionality
- Structured and planned way of working
- Focused and Can-Do attitude
- Knowledge about Operations & Maintenance
- Good co-operation, teamwork, and communication skills
- Maintenance Management knowhow
- Contract business understanding
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Willing to travel 20% of your time.
- IT skills seen as an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of Marine engine operations and maintenance
- Marine field service maintenance experience.
- Maximo knowledge is of great benefit.
- Good presentation skills.
