Maintenance Planner

Exchange Set Maintenance Planner


We are looking for an Exchange Set Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic, fast-paced 4-Stroke Maintenance Planning team for the Americas Region. This position can be remote and located in the US or in Canada, the start date for this will be September 1st.


As an Exchange Set Maintenance Planner, you will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute the Exchange Set concept. Monitor the workshop progress for the exchange parts and coordinate together with maintenance planner/coordinators the utilization of the exchange sets.
  • Maintain the Exchange Sets tracking system according to internal and external demands.
  • Proactively seek for performance improvement possibilities and ensure operational and technical improvements are proposed.
  • Communication and reporting with Contract Managers and customers in the area of maintenance management.
  • Support and train other users with implementation and usage of centralized maintenance management tool and Exchange Set management.


To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical / Productional engineering
  • Experience with marine diesel engines
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of engine functionality
  • Structured and planned way of working
  • Focused and Can-Do attitude 
  • Knowledge about Operations & Maintenance
  • Good co-operation, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Maintenance Management knowhow
  • Contract business understanding
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Willing to travel
  • IT skills Seen as an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of Marine engine operations and maintenance
  • Marine field service experience
  • Maximo knowledge
  • Good presentation skills
