About NACOS Marine:

NACOS Marine is embarking on an exciting journey as we establish ourselves as a standalone organization following a divestiture. As a subsidiary of Wärtsilä, NACOS Marine has approximately 750 employees globally, including 50 in the USA.

 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Office and Marketing Support Coordinator to join our team. This role is integral to ensure smooth administrative operations, support for local marketing initiatives, and successful event management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities across various domains.

 

This is a part-time job with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on business needs.

 

Location: This position is based in Weston, FL and follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence twice a week.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Office Administration:
    • Ensure a well-functioning office environment
    • Perform general administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.
    • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
  2. Facility Management:
    • Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of office facilities across all AMER locations
    • Coordinate with vendors for repairs, cleaning, and other services.
  3. Event Planning:
    • Organize and execute company events, including meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
    • Handle all aspects of event logistics, from venue selection to catering arrangements.
  4. Marketing and Exhibitions Support:
    • Support the global marketing function in implementing marketing strategies and campaigns.
    • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials.
    • Coordinate company participation in industry exhibitions and trade shows.
    • Manage logistics, booth setup, and promotional materials for events.
    • Ensure a professional and engaging presence at exhibitions.
  5. Ad Hoc Tasks:
    • Support management and other personnel as needed
    • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
    • Adapt to changing priorities and handle urgent requests efficiently.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ideally 3 years of proven experience in administrative support, marketing, and event planning.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Travel requirements:

  • Travel for exhibitions and events may be required occasionally, up to 10% of the time.
