Sales Solution Architect (SaaP, SaaS, Optimization, Smart & Autonomy)

We are looking for a Sales Solution Architect to join our dynamic, fast-paced team.

 

The role:

The solution architect is a strategic advisor responsible for driving and managing the technology evaluation and validation stages of the sales process.  This person will partner with Smart Vessel business leaders to implement innovative, transformational technology changes.

The ideal architect understands current vessel IT platforms to tackle correct pain points and recommend feasible solutions. The architect facilitates the discussions between businesses to understand the feasibility, viability, and desirability of the proposed idea and how to get there. Then translates business needs into technical requirements in collaboration with technical colleagues around.

 

As a Sales Solution Architect, you will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Understanding current vessel IT platforms to tackle correct pain points and recommend feasible solutions.
  • Facilitation discussions between businesses to understand the feasibility, viability, and desirability of the proposed idea and how to get there .
  • Translating business needs into technical requirements in collaboration with technical colleagues around.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Previous experience and knowledge of Maritime Industry.
  • Previous sales experience with software sales.
  • Salesforce knowledge – solid understanding of technical feasibility and being able communicate well with both business and technical experts.
  • Some level of SAP understanding required.
  • Broad technical understanding across all areas of IT development and operations.
  • Strong leadership, change management and self-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable in providing presentations for decision making and challenge the business leaders to improve ways-of-working.
