Wärtsilä Global Logistics Services (WGLS) manages the entire logistics chain of Wärtsilä OEM parts, from order intake to customer delivery. To accomplish this, the organization consist of three main delivery functions: Parts Coordination Management (PCM), Parts Supply (PS) and Parts Delivery (PD).

Job description          

We are looking for a Team Leader to lead and develop PCM South West Europe with locations in Marseille (FR) and Athens (GR). The team handles the Spare Part quotations and orders for external marine and internal customers within France, Spain and Portugal. The team leader is accountable for customer satisfaction and fulfilling the set Key Performance Indicators, as well as lead and manage daily operations of the team. Location for the team leader is Marseille, France.


Main Responsibilities    

  • Ensure that the business objectives and targets are met.
  • Lead and coach personnel within own team.
  • Execute action plans according to rules and regulations.
  • Cooperate with other Team Leads in other locations to ensure best practices.
  • Ensure quality and timely handling of quotations, orders, recording of claims and other related documents. Implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Balance workload among team members to grant efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor and report business performance in assigned team.
  • Identify waste in PCM processes having an operational excellence approach.
  • Motivate and develop a team in an environment where they can realize people’s potential
  • Maintain continuous improvement by using tools and techniques
  • Develop strategies & relationships with internal:external partners and clients


On top of that we expect that the ideal applicants have:    

  • M. Sc. / B. Sc in Business Admin and/or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of Managerial Experience, directly leading People and Teams.
  • Previous experience in change management seen as benefit
  • Fluency in English and French
