Parts Coordinator

Parts Coordinator

We have now a unique and exciting opportunity for a new Parts Coordinator to be based in our Frauenfeld offices increasing the capacity of our existing Parts team due to growth. This is a full time, permanent position..

What will you be doing
 

A Parts Coordinator in our business is a vital function, you will be responsible for processing spare parts orders that come directly from the customer to the Aftersales team. You will have a passion for providing excellent customer service in delivering a professional and efficient response working in a structured manner to satisfy customer orders.

 
As a Parts Coordinator, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
 

  • Act as contact for spare parts quotations, orders, deliveries and non - conformities.
  • Support Project and Contract Management by taking responsibility for daily customer interactions
  • Act as a link between customer and the various departments involved in the spare parts delivery process
  • Handle and coordinate quotes and orders according to working procedures, guidelines, and local requirements
  • Ensure highest level of quality and response time for quotes and orders
  • Ensure correct customer master data and handling instructions are used when processing quotations and orders
  • Actively follow up quotes with customers before they expire providing feedback to sales teams and support with follow ups on the order book with the sales team.
  • Liaise with Sales about the content and terms of the offerings.
  • Follow up and communicate parts deliveries information accordingly in a timely manner to customers.
  • Follow up with supply chain of parts deliveries according to agreed process.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of customer specific solutions and needs.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • Experience in customer service, both internal and external
  • Parts coordination related experience would be considered advantageous
  • The ability to work as part of an effective team and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Solution orientated mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in the English language, both verbal and written
  • IT proficient, particularly within Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with SAP is essential.
