Product Delivery Manager, Large Retrofit Projects, 2-Stroke Services

We are looking for a Product Delivery manager with a main responsibility in managing and coordinating execution of 2 stroke Large Retrofit Project Activities Worldwide. The preferred location for this position is any Wärtsilä location in Central and South Europe. In this position, remote working is an option too. 

Your role and responsibilities

As a Product Delivery Manager in Large Retrofit Projects, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• To ensure Large retrofits delivery of product installation in terms of profitability, scheduling, capacity management, resource coordination, logistics, tools and consumables supplies globally
• To lead and manage the dedicated large retrofit installation team
• To manage LR competences and competence development of the dedicated LR installation team
• To act as terminal point between project-, product-management and FS Delivery
• Establishing and maintaining a monthly LR Performance reporting
• To ensure the conformity of the dedicated LR Teams to Wartsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards as well as compliancy to applying working law
• Developing and model a strong sense of belonging and team spirit among the 2-Stroke LR Team
• Sourcing and subcontracting of capacity and supplies according to the project delivery requirements

To be successful in the role, we expect you to have:

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Ship Operation Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project executions and project delivery
• Solid professional experience in shipyard environment is of advantage
• Solid understanding of IM and Wärtsila tools related to business reporting and competence development and resource management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in 2-Stroke field service or equivalent
• Experience in commercial sales and work order management
• Excelling English language skill (written and spoken)
