Product Information Engineer

We are now looking for a Product Information Engineer for Documentation to be part of our Product Management and Engineering team where you will be responsible to support our product managers on product life-cycle information, manage projects and provide customer information.

 

This is a permanent opportunity and the preferred locations for the position are in Frauenfeld (Switzerland) and Trieste (Italy). 

 

Your role and responsibilities

 

As a Product Information Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Create and maintain our technical documentation such as Operation & Maintenance Manual, Spare Part Catalogue, Service Bulletins and guidelines.
  • Provide the 2-stroke relevant input to external writers and illustrator by collecting information from our experts.
  • Understands our documentation tools and act as specialist to support our internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality for product management related project tasks.

 

Requirements for the position 

 

  • BSc Mechanical or Marine Engineering or equivalent.
  • Structured and planned way of working.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Focused and can-do attitude.
  • Knowledge about Operations & Maintenance.
  • Experience as a Technical Writer.
  • A team player with a proactive approach and good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintenance Management knowhow.
  • Fluent English. 

 

As an ideal candidate you might also have…

 

  • Experience in engine technology, field service or marine is of great advantage.
  • Knowledge of other languages (in addition to English) is a plus.
  • Passion for new emerging environmental technologies and hands-on experience of engine, automation or auxiliary systems is appreciated.
