HR Manager

Responsibilities
In the role as HR Manager for HR Local Operations, you will support and advise local management in HR and employee related matters. You will be responsible for local HR communication as well as employee engagement and wellbeing. You will manage the relationship with our unions as well as external stakeholders and lead local negotiations. From time to time you will be involved in global, regional or business wise initiatives, where you will contribute at different levels, from being part of project teams to implementation support included local change management and sharing insight in local legislation and practices. You will also be responsible for payroll, time & attendance and absence management, maintenance of HR handbook, local compensation & benefits and local support to central functions within the global People Support function. You will report to the Regional Director HR Local Operations North & East Europe and will be a part of the regional team for North & East Europe. You will also be a part of the local management team for Wärtsilä Sweden and have a second reporting line to the MD. The position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, it will be an advantage if you have a relevant bachelor or master’s degree and 5+ years of experience from broad HR roles with trade union collaboration including negotiations. Experience from HR manager role or similar from smaller companies or from parts of bigger companies will also be considered an advantage. In addition, we believe you are curious, positive, customer oriented and committed with the ability to enable development and change and able to handle multiple tasks and projects in a structured way. You must be fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
