We are looking for a dynamic high performer to join us as a Service Coordinator Service Products, 2-Stroke Services. The primary location will be Gdansk, Poland.


As a Service Coordinator Service Products, 2-Stroke Services, you will:


  • Manage and coordinate the process for Service Product (SP) installations by dedicated Field Service (FS) teams mainly in Northern Hemisphere
  • Manage and coordinate Field Service activities for Service Products related commissioning tasks and final hand over
  • Plan FS activities for SP spare parts, cost and time schedule related to the work order
  • Coordinate activities for SP FS engineers when assigned to a work order
  • Act as single contact point for customer during the work order execution
  • Interact with relevant internal and external stakeholders related to the execution of a work order
  • Ensure service work is planned and executed according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards
  • Follow-up and report the status of work progress to customer and internal stakeholders
  • Act as a terminal point between Sales, Product Management and Customer
  • Handle of FS non-conformities, possible re-work activities and claims
  • Monitor of FS margins of work orders for SP installations
  • Prepare FS work-orders for invoicing after completion of services
  • Keeping close cooperation for FS SPI related functions e.g., between FS SP installation planning and Service Product Management



To be successful in this role, we expect you have: 


  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Ship Operation Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous related working experience
  • Field Service processes and 2-Stroke Product knowledge
  • Fluency in English
  • Project Management Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Projects, Excel and Word)
  • Communication and listening skills, ability to deal with people of different cultures
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Motivation to learn and grow professionally
  • Focus on Quality, health, and safety
