We are now looking for an enthusiastic Service Engineer Technical Service EUAF, 2-Stroke Services to join our 2-stroke business line in Technical Services. The role is offered as a permanent contract and will be based in Gdansk, Poland, but also Hamburg, Germany and Moschato, Greece are negotiable.

 

What will you be doing?

 

As a Service Engineer Technical Service EUAF, 2-Stroke Services, you will play a crucial role in providing technical and operations support to operators and owners of 2-stroke marine installations.

 

Your responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Providing technical and operations support to operators and owners of 2-stroke marine installations.
  • Analysing and evaluating engine performance and condition data.
  • Conducting on-site service, troubleshooting, commissioning, and supervision.
  • Exploring sales opportunities and up-selling potentials through the provided services.
  • Ensuring the provision of high-quality operational guidance and consultancy to customers.

 

The below will enable you to succeed in this role:

 

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar relevant technical educational background.
  • Experience with service or operation of 2-stroke marine diesel engines.
  • Responsible and reliable team player.
  • Structured, analytical, and self-dependent working attitude.
  • Good time management and organizational skills, ability to effectively manage your workload.
  • Technical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Passion for working in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

 

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope that you are ready and willing to travel up to approximately 35 % of your working time, although most of the meetings are held virtually.
