We are now looking for an enthusiastic Service Engineer Technical Service to join a strong team of experts providing technical support and high- level consultancy to owner and operator of 2-stroke large bore engines. 

 

The role will be based in Gdansk (Poland).  

 

Your role and responsibilities

 

As Service Engineer Technical Service EUAF, 2-Stroke Services your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Providing technical and operations support to operator and owner of 2-stroke marine installations.
  • Analysis and evaluation of engine performance / condition data.
  • On site service, troubleshooting, commissioning & and on side supervision.
  • Exploring of sales opportunities and up-selling potentials thorough the provided services.

 

The below will enable you to shine in this role:

 

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Ship Operation Engineering or equivalent.
  • Self-motivated and reliable to take responsibility of your actions.
  • Structured, analytic and self-dependent working attitude.
  • Good time management and organisation skills - able to effectively manage the workload by periodisation and coordination.
  • Good team player in an international and intercultural working environment.
  • Fluent in English and Polish, both written and verbal.

In this role, travel around the world is required. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel up to approximately 50%.
