We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist with a main responsibility in Learning Delivery & Competence Development related tasks.

 

The preferred location for this position is Gdansk, Poland but also Budapest, Hungary or Constanta, Romania and Belgrade, Serbia are negotiable.

 

We offer the possibility to work in a hybrid setup, with a standard of three days per week from the office and the remaining days from home.

 

 

Your role and responsibilities 

 

As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will contribute to building a learning organisation and support professional growth across Wärtsilä by ensuring that Wärtsilians are aware and have access to the learning solutions available. Within your scope, you will:

 

  • Support and guide our customer in Learning & Development related questions via the ticketing system used by Wärtsilä HR.
  • Handle administrative tasks in our Learning Management System, based on inputs given by our customers.
  • Guide and support Competence Developers in their role, including helping them to plan and manage the delivery of learning solutions in their scope.
  • Advise, support, and upskill learning stakeholders on competence development, learning delivery related processes and tools, in alignment with global processes, concepts, and frameworks.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities within the team.
  • Support LMS release testing in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and contribute to the successful implementation of our new LMS.
  • Support other People Services teams during peak periods, when needed and separately agreed (max. 20% of working time).

 

 

Requirements for the position:

 

  • 3 to 5 years of valid and documented experience in Learning Delivery/Coordination relates tasks and understanding of learning delivery related processes and ways of working.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with good collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Adaptability to navigate in a dynamic environment while maintaining composure under pressure and ensuring attention to detail.
