Talent Sourcing Coordinator

We’re on a mission to strengthen our Talent Acquisition organisation to help Wärtsilä accelerate the decarbonisation of the marine and energy industries by recruiting key talent even faster, better, and bolder. As part of this, we’re now looking for a Talent Sourcing Coordinator to enhance candidate experience. Each year approx. 30.000 candidates pass through a recruitment process with Wärtsilä – imagine the impact we can create if we leave everyone with a positive impression!
What you will be doing
In this role, your primary focus will be to ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the whole recruitment lifecycle. This means partnering closely with our Talent Acquisition Partners, HR colleagues, and businesses to understand our hiring needs, help build effective sourcing strategies, manage candidate attraction through passive and proactive means, carry out first-level assessments, book further interviews, manage offer coordination and ensuring smooth contracting and onboarding of the successful candidate. You’ll also be managing key talent pools from candidate identification to continuous engagement.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract and the preferred location is Gdańsk, Poland, or Moschato, Greece. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.
You will work as a part of the North, East, and South Europe Talent Acquisition team, and collaborate with talent acquisition professionals globally.
As a Talent Sourcing Coordinator, you will:
- Prepare for and attend intake calls with your Talent Acquisition Partner for new job requisitions
- Recommend suitable, cost-efficient sourcing strategies
- Write and publish compelling job adverts in line with our employer's brand
- When applicable, proactively search candidates for open job requisitions
- Carry out CV and telephone screening of candidates to create shortlists, and support your Talent Acquisition Partner in presenting shortlists to the hiring managers
- Create, maintain, and engage with key talent pools to ensure a strong proactive candidate pipeline
- Book further interviews & assessments
- Maintain active communication with candidates throughout the whole recruitment process
- Ensure our tools are updated with the actions and candidate statuses
- Contribute to the development of and help implement new ways of working in your region
- Contribute to our employer brand communication strategy
To be successful in this role, you’ll take high pride in providing an outstanding candidate experience from start to end. Who we are looking for:
- You should be able to gauge the key priorities of our managers and our business, and then use this knowledge to effectively assess candidates against our needs both today and in the future
- You should be able to effortlessly speak to candidates about what we can offer, understand the candidates’ career and private drivers, and communicate how these match to sell opportunities but also create realistic expectations for both parties
- You are an excellent communicator who takes pride in providing an outstanding candidate and manager experience
- You can manage multiple hiring cycles across multiple hiring managers with high attention to customer experience
- You communicate fluently in English
