We are looking for a Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our global team.
The preferred location is either Gdansk or Gdynia in Poland, Budapest in Hungary or Madrid or Valencia in Spain.
We work in a hybrid model, and we hope to see you at the office a few days each week.
Your role and responsibilities
As Talent Sourcing Specialist, your tasks will include:
- Ownership of candidate attraction for all vacancies in defined countries/region, recommending cost-effective techniques and in accordance with company policies, procedures, and processes
- Supports Talent Acquisition Partner with relevant market intelligence on current external candidate market, benefits and working conditions to ensure Wartsila can remain competitive in the market
- Increase our connection with target talent pools to ensure Wärtsilä is seen as the company of choice for professionals wishing to grow their career
- Align sourcing with Wärtsilä's Employee Value Proposition "Fuel Your Power" and support creation of specific employer branding messaging and communication plans for these
- Delivering guidance and timely feedback and advice to ultimately unsuccessful candidates to support their career growth and increase our brand reputation as a caring employer
- Utilise direct sourcing methods (LinkedIn & similar) to attract and engage with high-quality candidates whilst ensuring a world-class candidate experience
- Support candidate interviews where necessary during various hiring stages including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
- Create compelling job advertisements, post them, and promote our opportunities across relevant social media channels in alignment with our brand and Employee Value Proposition
- Pre-screen applicants to build qualified shortlists, coordinate interview scheduling, and ensure clear and timely communication with candidates throughout the entire recruitment process
- Drive positive candidate experience by managing onboarding steps for candidates from offer to their first day
- Develop effective working relationships with key recruitment agencies where required and make recommendations on supply base
- Participate in piloting, testing, and scaling new ways of workings within your countries/region as required
Requirements for the position:
- Demonstrated experience in talent sourcing, including candidate identification, initial screening, and conducting phone or video interviews
- Strong administrative capabilities, such as managing job postings, coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate records, and supporting recruitment processes
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment, collaborating with stakeholders and candidates across multiple countries and cultures
- Fluent in English and German

- Experience of engaging with applicants for functions across all levels
- The ability to manage multiple hiring cycles across multiple hiring managers with a high focus on administration and coordination activities
- Willingness & flexible to adopt to different time zones as the incumbent will be working for vacancies in the region
