Component Expert, E&I
Main Responsibilities:

Provide Gas Solutions with a center of excellence for Component knowledge
-
Develop and maintain Product Portfolio in TeamCenter on Component level based on relevant rules regulations, requirements and QHSE aspects

Develop and maintain Product Portfolio in TeamCenter on Component level based on feedback from Gas Solutions
-
Provide Component training on main equipment and support to engineers in Gas Solutions
-
Participate in product assessments (e.g. environment, criticality etc.)

Evaluate and approve new suppliers of Components from a technical perspective in support of Supply Management
-
Participation in studies for gas plants on LNG and LPG carriers, onshore and offshore, VOC, Biogas and LCO2

Development of system design and preparation of engineering documentation

Preparation documentation templates for equipment for purchase in respect of E&I scope, review of vendor/manufacturer documentation
-
Prepare electrical and instrumentation documentation templates e.g. Wiring diagrams, Instrument list, cable list, cable block diagram, single line diagram
Our requirements:
-
BSc/MSc in electrical engineering or equivalent
-
Experience from maritime, Oil & Gas and/or process industry engineering
-
Technical knowledge of electrical motors, VFD, MCC, el. Cabinets, pressure /temperature /flow /level instruments, fire and gas detection systems etc.

Familiarity with applicable Classification Societies rules for marine industry (DNV, BV, LRS, ABS etc.) and other international standards such as IEC/API/NORSOK.

Willingness to travel if needed, occasional business trips

Ability to work in a multinational team

Fluent English language, both verbally and in writing

Minimum 3 years of professional relevant experience
