Due to incoming projects in our organization in Wärtsilä Gas Solutions we are searching Control Systems Engineer – Software in Process Control Systems section.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient and reliable PLC software for Gas Solutions Control Systems.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of PLC solutions into overall control system architecture.
• Develop relevant project / product documentation.
• Take part in technical clarifications related to own scope of delivery.
• Perform test of own or others software (peer review) to ensure control system performance in accordance with requirements.

Qualifications:

• Higher technical education (min. Bachelor) in Automation, Electrical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in control systems engineering with emphasis on PLC programming (TIA portal knowledge is required)
• Proficient in PLC programming languages, with a focus on FBD and STL.
• Good knowledge of software architecture
• Good understanding of hardware system design
• Fluent English language skills, both verbally and written
• Knowledge of automation design
• Experience with software testing / peer review
