Process Control Engineer, CHS

Due to increased activities and incomng projects, we are hiring for Process Control Engineers within our organization


Main tasks and responsibilities:



  • Participation in project execution and studies for gas plants on LNG and LPG carriers, offshore (FPSO)
  • Development of system design for control systems
  • Preparation of documentation (FDS, C&E, signal list, wiring diagrams)
  • Evaluation of bids, review of vendor documentation and supplier follow-up
  • Ensure information flow with other disciplines
  • Technical clarifications concerning customer, suppliers, class and yard
  • Take part in design reviews, HAZOP sessions and milestone reviews
  • Technical support for commissioning and start-up activities (some travelling will expected)




  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Automation / Electrical & Instrumentation / Cybernetics Engineer or other relevant degree.
  • Experience from maritime (ship/FPSO), Oil & Gas 
  • Good knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards and class rules
  • Excellent experience with functional design and cabinet design specification
  • Knowledge of software architecture and programming experience
  • Experience from testing and commissioning is preferred
  • Experience in use of EPLAN, AutoCad Electrical, IFS Plant design and SAP is preferred.
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbally and written 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience required
