QEHS Supervisor

QEHS Supervisor within the Wärtsilä Gas Solutions (WGS) organization and projects.
This role is initially offered as a 12-month, project-based appointment, with the potential for extension or permanent placement based on future business needs.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining the company’s QEHS Policy and establishment and follow up of QEHS objectives and targets
• Contribute to monthly QEHS reporting for Wärtsilä Gas Solutions (WGS)
• Coordinate, participate in and facilitate internal, customer and third party audits and certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001)
• Ensuring that processes are established by the different process owners, as well as working to align these with other (WGS) sites
• Monitoring the effectiveness of our processes through internal project and process audits and reporting, enabling fact-based decision making and continuous improvement.
• Work with process owners for continuous improvement and further development of process descriptions, procedures and instructions ensuring the work is performed in a uniform way and according to best practice
• Ensuring registration and follow up of nonconformities and WeCare reports (Environment, Health, Safety and Security related cases).
• Initiate or facilitate RCA (Root Cause Analysis) when required
• Facilitating Lesson Learn sessions and share outcome with stakeholder
• Contribute to regular safety walks
• Local coordination of fire preparedness and emergency preparedness
• Inform and train the organization in quality, environment, health and safety issues/systems
• Facilitating Risk & Opportunity reviews, collect relevant input, and involving the right stakeholders
• Be up to date on relevant laws and regulations within QEHS
• Support in establishing project QEHS documentation as required by customer, like Quality and EHS Plan.
• Key user of QEHS systems and tools (WeCare, SAP-QM, Apollo RCA, EcoOnline etc).
• Follow up on corporate compliance status and issues
• Contribute in making WGS a company with high focus on QEHS
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant education and experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and ISO 45001. Long experience within QEHS can compensate for formal education.
Qualifications:
• Experience from similar position within engineering / technology industry
• Preferably some QC competence
• Preferably Certified Quality Auditor
• Preferably Certified E, H&S auditor
• Ability to work in cross functional teams
