Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented professional with a passion for procurement? We are seeking dynamic Spare Part Purchasers to join our growing team in Gas Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating, and securing the best quality spare parts, with a strong focus on optimizing lead times and prices to keep our operations running smoothly. If you excel in managing supplier relationships and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!  Locations for positions are, Gdynia Poland or Moss, Norway

Key Responsibilities


Order Placement

  • Place orders for spare parts with suppliers following successful negotiations.
  • Ensure orders comply with the agreed-upon terms and conditions.
  • On critical orders, monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

 

Supplier Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, including pricing, lead times, and payment conditions.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues related to delays or discrepancies.

 

System Maintenance

  • Maintain and regularly update accurate records of commercial conditions such as prices, lead times, and delivery terms.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in the procurement system.

 

Inventory Management

  • Collaborate with Services Department to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Identify and address any potential shortages or excess inventory situations.

 

Relationship Management

  • Collaborate with Spares and Services team members, supporting as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the spare parts industry.

 

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
