We are now looking for a 

Service Engineer (m/f/d)

to join our team working for a better future. 

The preferred location for the position is in Geesthacht, Germany. 

What you will be doing 

As Service Engineer your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting at site
• Customer Support
• Commissioning work (incl. sea trial) for new fresh water system deliveries (evaporators)
• Commissioning and development work of upgrades for existing evaporators
• Service work of existing fresh water systems onboard vessels and land-based units
• Prepare customer quotes and claim handling

You will shine in this role, when you have:

• Professional education in Engineering as electrical or mechanical engineer or equivalent and first experience with evaporators
• Good practical electrical skills
• Good mechanical skills
• Experience with engine room installations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Highly motivated and self-organized detailed work preparation
• Structured analytical and self-dependent working attitude
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Willingness to travel worldwide
• Sales and customer oriented
• Knowledge in using MS Office applications
• Excellent behaviour in team working in an international and intercultural working environment
• Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills are required
