In-Situ Technician

In-Situ Technician

 

We are now looking for an In-situ Technician to join our Specialized Services team of In-situ machining experts, that operates in the field (e.g. on power plants, vessels that are in the drydock or at sea, etc.). The preferred location for the position is in Genova, Italy

 

When you are not in the field, remote working is an option. 

  

What will you be doing? 

  

As In-Situ Technician, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Timely completion of all jobs assigned. 

  • Required Service technician plans and organizes the service jobs assigned him by the Service coordinator. 

  • Ensures that quality service reports are submitted after job completion to the Service coordinator. 

  • Use & maintain the working tools in accordance with good mechanical work practices. 

  • Conform with & abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures & instructions. 

  • Quality and efficiency and safety management including zero injuries. 

  

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

 

  • Vocational degree.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and procedures.

  • Ability to deal with people of different nationality. 

  • A good knowledge of English is required (all technical bulletins and manuals are in English).

  • Ability to work under pressure. 

  • Willingness to travel for at least 8-9 months per year and in Italy or abroad, when required. 

  • Contribution as a team member. 

  • Good interpersonal skills. 

  • Excellent Problem-solving skills.
