Junior Sales Coordinator (m/f/d)

SALES COORDINATOR (m/f/d)

 

We are now looking for a Sales Coordinator to join us in maintaining and developing our market leading position in Sales Region 2 Med and Atlantic, Marine Power.

The preferred location for the position is in Italy (Trieste, Naples or Genoa) and reporting to Dario Landi, Sales General Manager, Sales Italy & Turkey.

 

What will you be doing?

 

As a part of Marine Power Sales organization, you will be part of the journey of establishing and driving the development of the Marine Power Sales organization. The work that has been done by colleagues across the world sets a strong foundation in which we can build the next step in reaching excellence in Sales and efficiency, operational excellence and global world class competence.

You will be responsible for properly keeping updated and reliable Sales Database ensuring that Sales force identify and pursue relevant opportunities in your area, leading the sales activities, and for closing the deals with the customers

 

As Sales Coordinator, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Verify service offers for Italian customers related to customer request and needs.
  • Ensure that customer inquiries, orders and complaints are responded to in a prompt and satisfactory manner.
  • Maintain contact with customer organizations by forming relationships with key personnel by telephone, email, etc, occasional visits to these key personnel may be required although this is predominantly a desk-based position.
  • Work in capture teams and ensure securing of business
  • Discuss technical specifications and commercial contracts for the Marine Power transactional offering.
  • Maintain customers’ database and CRM tool, issue-meeting reports within agreed timescales.
  • Track record of growing sales, selling services and tailored solutions.
  • Meet the specific performance targets.
  • Leverage day-to-day activities in your team to the next level
  • Assist developing existing processes / applications / products / solutions to meet tomorrow’s targets
  • Develop and maintain Customers Satisfaction.
  • Collect and communicate market intelligence and competitor information.
  • Identify and communicate customer values related to services and products marketed and sold by Wärtsilä.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have or to be:

 

  • no professional experience required
  • a collaborator, communicating and collaborating smoothly in English with variety of both technical and business stakeholders
  • versatile A working experience within sales and with a proven track record is a plus
  • like to get things done with a proactive attitude
  • Conceptual sales skills, influencing power
  • Multicultural sensitivity, ability to build relations and become a part of a multi-cultural team
  • Tolerance to work under stress in a complex business environment
  • Sound knowledge of Wärtsilä MP lifecycle Products & Services.

In this role, travelling is required for training/induction reasons and to meet with our customers around the world.
