We are now looking for a

Sales Coordinator

to join our team working for a better future.

The position is permanent and the location is in Genova.

What you will be doing

As a Sales Coordinator, after an adequate induction period, you will take care of some Italian TAC customer business development and in addition you will cooperate with the rest of the Sales team to overview and manage Italian customers data quality.

As Sales Coordinator, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Commercial and Technical skills growing during induction
• Assigned Customer Relationships
• Achieved Order intake
• On time payments

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Fluency in written and spoken English (to be fluent in a second language will be a plus)
• Master’s Degree (Technical or Economics fields are a plus)
• Marine environmental basic knowledge

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 50%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.

The annual salary range for Italy for this role is 30,000 EUR – 45,000 EUR in accordance with the salary provisions in the National Collective Labor Agreement for workers in the metalworking and plant installation industry (CCNL Metalmeccanico). At Wärtsilä, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. This range reflects the expected compensation for the role, based on market data and our job architecture. The final salary offered will depend on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the required competencies, and your relevant education, skills, and experience. We also take internal equity into account to ensure fairness across our organisation.
