In questa posizione, seguirai un programma di inserimento strutturato, riceverai coaching e parteciperai a un percorso formativo selezionato, volto ad aumentare le capacità e lo sviluppo dell'officina in termini di qualità e modernizzazione. Il tirocinante sarà coinvolto nelle operazioni dell'officina con un graduale aumento della complessità, includendo la revisione dei componenti, la lavorazione meccanica e le pratiche di controllo della qualità dei componenti e del lavoro, sempre supportato e supervisionato dal nostro team. 

 

Il tuo ruolo e le tue responsabilità 

 

Come tirocinante dell'officina ti concentrerai su queste responsabilità: 

 

  • Contribuire all'esecuzione delle attività di servizio dell'officina, come revisioni, ricondizionamenti, modifiche, pulizia e lavorazione meccanica dei componenti del motore. 

  • Collaborare a stretto contatto con il Team Leader e il Senior Workshop Technician per garantire che le attività lavorative siano completate entro i tempi di consegna previsti. 

  • Assicurare che tutte le attività nell'officina siano svolte in conformità con le regole di sicurezza Wärtsilä e gli standard di salute e sicurezza dell'azienda. 

  • Essere parte integrante del team dell'officina, cercando di raggiungere obiettivi comuni e rispettare le scadenze dei clienti. 

  • Adottare un atteggiamento positivo e flessibile verso eventuali compiti "ad hoc" che potrebbero essere assegnati. 

  • Svolgere tutte le attività in modo da garantire la massima soddisfazione (interna ed esterna) per quanto possibile. 

 

Requisiti per la posizione: 

 

  • Diploma di scuola professionale, preferibilmente con un background in studi nautici, meccanici o meccatronici.  

  • Comprensione di base delle operazioni dell'officina e degli standard di sicurezza. 

  • Curiosità e desiderio di imparare. 

  • Forte attitudine al lavoro di squadra. 

  • Approccio costruttivo ai compiti e alle sfide. 

  • Disponibilità ad apprendere e adattarsi a nuovi processi e tecnologie.  

 

Come candidato ideale potresti anche avere… 

 

  • Precedente esperienza in un'officina o ambiente simile, anche per brevi periodi. 

  • Una buona conoscenza dell'inglese è un vantaggio. 

  • Capacità di lavorare sotto pressione e rispettare le scadenze.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Workshop Trainee to join our team in Genoa and learn from the best in the industry. This is your chance to gain invaluable experience, develop your skills, and grow with a company that values your potential. 

 

In this position, you will follow a structured induction program, receive coaching, and attend a selected training path aimed at increasing workshop capacity and development in terms of quality and modernization. The trainee will be engaged in workshop operations with a gradual increase in complexity, including component overhauling, machining, and component and work quality control practices, always being supported and supervised.  

 

Your role and responsibilities   

 

As a Workshop Trainee you will focus on these responsibilities:  

 

  • Contribute to the execution of workshop service tasks, such as overhauls, reconditioning, modification, cleaning, and machining of reciprocating engine components. 

  • Liaise closely with the Team Leader and Senior Workshop Technician to ensure work scopes are kept within the specified delivery schedule. 

  • Ensure that all activities in the workshop are carried out in accordance with Wärtsilä safety rules and in compliance with the Company's Health and Safety standard. 

  • Be an integral part of the workshop team, striving to achieve common goals and customer deadlines. 

  • Adopt a pleasant, adaptable attitude towards any "ad-hoc" duties that may be required. 

  • Always carry out all tasks in such a way as to ensure maximum satisfaction (internal and external) to the extent that this is possible. 

 

Requirements for the position:  

 

  • Diploma from a professional school, preferably with a background in marine, mechanical or mechatronic studies. 

  • Curiosity and a proactive attitude towards continuous learning. 

  • Strong team-working attitude. 

  • Constructive approach to tasks and challenges. 

  • Basic understanding of workshop operations and safety standards. 

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies. 

 

As an ideal candidate you might also have…   

 

  • Previous experience in a workshop or similar environment, even for short periods. 

  • Good English knowledge is a plus. 

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 

  • Good communication skills.
