The power plant is seeking a Plant Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of plant systems. The successful candidate will execute operational tasks, monitor
equipment performance, and assist in maintaining plant reliability in accordance with company procedures and standards.

Role Summary / Purpose
The Plant Technician is responsible for operating plant systems and executing routine operational tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance. The role
includes assisting with start-up and shutdown activities, monitoring plant conditions, maintaining logs, and responding to operational disturbances while adhering to company procedures.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate the plant in accordance with company policies, procedures, and operational plans.
- Assist in start-up, shutdown, and normal operation of plant systems.
- Monitor plant equipment and process parameters, reporting any abnormalities.
- Adjust processes, flows, and settings under guidance to optimize plant performance.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
- Complete and maintain logs, reports, and operational records accurately.
- Identify and resolve routine operational issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Execute emergency procedures to protect personnel and equipment during faults or failures.
- Maintain plant housekeeping and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of operational tasks.
- Support continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to work practices.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Basic knowledge of plant operations, systems, and equipment.
- Ability to follow operational procedures and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and shift-based environment.

- Experience working in a power plant or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with plant systems, engines, and auxiliary equipment.
