The GOE2 Power Plant is seeking a competent Shift Supervisor 2 to coordinate and supervise shift operations, ensuring optimal performance, safety compliance, and adherence to operational standards.

Role Summary / Purpose
The Shift Supervisor 2 is responsible for coordinating and supervising plant operations during assigned shifts. This role ensures that operational targets are met while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The position involves leading shift teams, optimizing performance, and ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate shift operations, including scheduling, task allocation, and resource management to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Lead operational teams by providing direction, training, and support to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
- Ensure all personnel are properly instructed on safety procedures, equipment usage, company policies, and performance expectations.
- Monitor plant performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
- Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, environmental regulations, and company standards.
- Manage availability of tools, spare parts, and operational resources required for shift activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate operations and resolve issues.
- Oversee personnel actions including performance management, discipline, and development of team members.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all operational procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within shift operations.

Qualifications / Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in plant operations or supervisory role within a power plant or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of operational procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage shift operations effectively.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
