Payroll Administrator (m/f/d)

For our HR Department at Wärtsilä SAM Electronics in Hamburg, Behringstraße we are looking for an

 

Payroll Administrator 

in Part-Time for 25h per week.

 

 

In this role you are responsible for:

 

  • Personnel processing in the following task categories using the existing personnel software, the completion of which is partly predefined:
    • Maintenance of the relevant data regarding master data, Personnel measures and all organizational changes that are required as well as all accounting data including the necessary calculations
    • Creation of evaluations / reports (e.g. monthly / quarterly reports)
    • Issuing of certificates
    • Deadline and deadline tracking (ongoing)
  • Payroll accounting:
    • Preparatory measures (importing files, etc.)
    • Execute settlement run including checking and, if necessary, corrective actions
    • Subsequent activities: creation of posting file, remuneration statements, income tax registration, social security notifications, etc.
  • Year-end closing activities:
    • Reconciliation and creation of new tax rates, vacation quotas, etc.
    • Evaluations and statistics (trade association, disabled employees, earnings surveys)
    • Provision of the necessary data / information for accruals (vacation, bonus, litigation risks, settlements, etc.

 

 

Your requirements are:

 

  • Completed training in a commercial profession with a focus on Human Resources as well as further training/qualification as a certified Personnel Specialist
  • Several years of relevant experience in payroll accounting
  • Very good knowledge in the application of SAP-HCM
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office 365, especially MS-Excel
  • Very good English language skills in spoken and written
