Product Information Engineer (m/w/d)

Our business unit Navigation, Communication & Smart Sensors is looking for a self-driven and customer-oriented Product Information Engineer for Navigation Systems. The position is located at Wärtsilä SAM in Hamburg, Germany.

 

Your responsibilities are:

 

- Secure availability of a portfolio of products and services for navigation and communication systems

- Release new and adapt existing products within the portfolio
- Perform market observation and analysis
- Providing input for the creation of manuals, web content, presentations and other documentation
- Define requirements specifications for products
- Plan, initiate and execute product training
- Perform SAP material management of products
- Development and maintenance of product information systems

 

Requirements:

 

- Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering, nautical science or equivalent

- app. 2-3 year relevant experience

- Knowledge of ship operation technology desirable

- Knowledge of project management, business administration and SAP

- Good English skills spoken and written

- Communication skills and capability to work in a team
