Sales Representative Turnkey Solutions (m/f/d)

Our Business Unit Turnkey Solutions is looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Sales Representative for Turnkey Solutions. The business unit is successfully acting as electrical system integrator for shipyards with focus on complex vessels and is currently expanding its business in the international markets. The position is preferred located at Wärtsilä SAM Electronics in Hamburg, Germany.


Your responsibilities are:


  • Customer liaison and support for shipping companies, shipyards, consultants in Germany and abroad
  • Initializing and checking of calculations and technical specifications as well as creation of commercial offers
  • Competence in technical solution finding to ensure in the customer guidance a most clever solution
  • Responsible for negotiations in the frame of the company frame work and risk evaluation
  • Creation of sales strategies for systems and solutions
  • Creations of specific market analysis in cooperation with the marketing
  • Company and product presentations at customer meetings as well as creation of such presentations
  • Representing the company at trade fairs in Germany and abroad
  • Creation of market- and system studies e.g. for utilities and state owned clients



What do we expect:


  • Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Several years of relevant experience in national/international sales
  • Experience in Maritime Industry and ship building sector
  • Business fluent English and German skills written and spoken
  • Readiness for traveling worldwide based on current projects
  • Energetic, open-minded and flexible character
