We are looking for a Senior Strategic Purchaser with a main responsibility in Indirect Purchasing/Procurement. The preferred location for this position is Hørsholm, Denmark but also Drammen, Norway and Hamburg, Germany are negotiable. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Senior Strategic Purchaser, you’ll be asked to lead the Indirect Procurement activities within ANCS, by dealing with the suppliers allocated to the related commodities belonging to the Purchasing Category Y52. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of the dynamic and multi-cultral Strategic Purchasing and Supplier Development & Quality team with diverse expertise.
Requirements for the position:
- Manage and develop supplier base, performance, relationships, and negotiations in close cooperation with other ANCS stakeholders
- Secure compliance with Supply Management processes/procedures, strategies and agreements
- Grant guidance and support to the global Indirect Procurement team
- Ensure Quality, Delivery, Lead Time, and Cost development of materials and services for own area of responsibility
- Lead/support/participate in negotiations, secure capacity and forecasting
- Execute/support material/services for cost budgeting and follow-up, and supplier selection/rationalization process
- Manage and improve e-procurement approach for successfully usage of relevant catalogues on regional or global scale
- Secure the "purchase to pay" process involving relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain SAP Outline Agreements
- Manage supplier performance and relationships, gather and analyse spend and supplier data, execute bench-marking, provide data to the relevant functions
- Analyse future supply demand in cooperation with the needed functions
- Support non-conformity/warranty process management in escalated issues
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:
- Solid understanding of sourcing and supply management (several years of experience in sourcing or technology)
- Negotiation skills coupled with a strong focus on problem-solving, quality, speed and cost
- Solution-oriented approach, capability to implement and persistence to follow-up activities to ensure sustainability
- Capability to work in a distributed team and self-driven approach
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Fluent command of English, both oral and written, and good networking capacity, willing to travel
- Strong honesty and integrity
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering and/or Business or another relevant field
