As a System Security Specialist (m/f/d) at ANCS, we transform how vessels perform to create the safest and most efficient voyage for our customers – always with the vision in mind to navigate towards a more sustainable maritime industry.

We are now looking for a  System Security Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in Horsholm (Denmark) delivering solutions to our customers in the maritime Navy and Commercial segment. However for an exceptional candidate other relevant ANCS locations in Europe would be considered.

What you will be doing

 

You will be part of the R&D navigation and Platform team which defines and develops the network and infrastructure platform of our NACOS Platinum solution

 

In cooperation with the team’s Compliance Officer, you will assist our customers in their ship building projects, assessing, designing, and implementing security measures to protect critical infrastructure and ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of operational technology assets.

 

We expect this to be a hybrid position, so work can be performed partially remote and partially onsite from the innovative office in Horsholm (Denmark. 

 

You will be working closely together with internal stakeholders from Product Management, Navigation R&D, Service, Engineering and customers in an international organization.

 

As System Security Specialist (m/f/d) your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Proactively identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities of the NACOS product family and ensure that we have a reliable, secure and performant NACOS Platinum platform, covering the needs of all stakeholders
  • Advise stakeholders, internal as well as external about the procurement, setup and maintenance of suitable hardware as well as software designed to improve network security
  • Help our customers and our own Engineering and Service organization make sure that delivered OT systems and their configurations are cyber secure
  • Support network- and cyber-related release testing of the NACOS Platinum platform. 
  • Work with internal stakeholders to contribute to security procedures.
  • There is a requirement to travel within the role, a level of 40% travel between locations could be required.

 

Qualifications:
 

If you are the Perfect Candidate, you have several years of experience from the OT (Operation Technology) domain, designing, maintaining and managing cyber secure systems and networks. 

We imagine that you have:

 

  • Extensive knowledge of networks, including their protocols, components, topology, configuration, performance, redundancy, and testing.
  • Good understanding of how to make the systems which are based on these networks, cyber secure
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both in writing and verbally 
  • The ability to obtain a security clearance at the confidential level (Confidentiel UE). This is a condition for employment.
  • A high level of ethics, keeping confidentiality a top priority

 

The following capabilities are a plus:
 

  • Configuring and maintaining cyber secure Operating Systems and services such as databases and file synchronization mechanisms
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Experience from the maritime or other regulated industries
  • Being able to communicate in German
