We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join the Business HR team in Marine Power, Parts Services organization.  

 

Preferred location is the Netherlands and you will report to Senior HR Business Partner, Parts Services.   

 

In this role, you will be a member of a management team and support leaders to turn business requirements into people priorities. Your focus will be on: 

  • Partnering with the respective business management to understand the people requirements and implications of business projects, initiatives and action plans in your responsibility area and turn them into people priorities, HR solutions and action plans 

  • Supporting assigned management teams / assigned leaders to implement Wärtsilä people processes according to annual people management cycle. 

  • Proactively engaging in dialogue with other HR instances regarding business needs and requirements. Facilitating cooperation between business and HR when needed.  

  • Leading and supporting change projects with people impact and ways of working development to secure effective organisation.  

  • Actively contributing in the culture and talent development, for example by identifying and removing obstacles for high performance in region/function level.  

  • Coaching the management team members / assigned leaders in their leadership and supporting in management team development. 

  • Ensuring meaningful people process compliance and implementation in your respective responsibility area. 

 

Your success will be measured against employee satisfaction, contribution to strategy implementation and change project completion - and ultimately financial business performance.  

 

As an ideal candidate for this position you will have a MSc (or BSc) degree in a relevant field (Economics, Pedagogy, Psychology), supported by 5-7 year experience in diverse generalist HR roles. Experience from working in a local and regional level as well as experience as business management team member will be beneficial for you to succeed in this position.
