We are looking for skilled Business Development Manager to drive Wärtsilä's Energy Business growth in Germany.

This position is offered on a permanent basis and is open to Wärtsilä locations in Germany.

As Business Development Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities

  • Promote Wärtsilä Energy Business solutions and lifecycle services, and create strong market presence as well as build long-term customer relationships. 
  • Generate order intake in Germany by owning customer relationship and the business case including both new build power and lifecycle, being accountable for strategy and account planning for Germany, guarantee data input to high quality in CRM, coordinating internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and ensure long term customer relationship & satisfaction during the whole sales process. 
  • Orchestrate, lead and implement public/private tender/proposal strategy to ensure that risks are appropriately managed.

 

The below will enable you to shine in this role:

  • Understanding of energy business financing, construction, operation and economic drivers especially in Germany.
  • Existing network with relevant companies and stakeholders in German power generation business.
  • Team player attitude internally and externally with great networking capabilities, comfortable to engage customer organizations at C-level.
  • BSc or MSc degree in Engineering or Economics.
  • Strong written and oral skills in German and English.
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft, Sales Force CRM.
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ working experience.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
