We are looking for our next Field Service Coordinator at our Hamburg location.

 

What you will do:

  • Coordinates Field Service Orders from order acceptance to invoice payment. This will be done within the contract and customer requirements, always respecting quality, health, safety, environmental and cost targets.
  • Responsible for the margin made on the FS jobs. 
  • Point of contact for the customer during the execution of the work order to ensure satisfaction for all activities.
  • Discussing any additional work or other changes in work scope during the job with the customer and agree upon additional orders.
  • Managing Field Service engineers when they are assigned to a service order, up to 3 persons, this can be multicultural/national teams with different disciplines.
  • Take care of any non-conformities, minimise rework.
  • Handling small sales offers and sales potentials.
  • Handling all related FS activities for warranty orders and agreements

 

What you will need to be successful: 

  • Technical understanding or background of at least one of our product lines like Engines, Propulsion, E&A, etc. is desired.
  • Basic coordination (0-2 years’ experience) of service activities including people.
  • Able to adapt to varying situation and assigned teams.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication.
  • Be proactive, curious, solution driven, cooperative, initiative, positive, flexible
  • Time Management skills, able to prioritize workload with support of own manager.
  • General Computer Skills; Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams. Basic knowledge of Salesforce and SAP.
  • Basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis knowledge.
