We are now looking for a 

 

Design Engineer (m/f/d) 

 

to join our team working for a better future. 

 

The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg, Germany. 

 

What you will be doing 

 

Your work will include the design of consoles for all kind of navigational projects and the design of electrical drawings for all kind of navigational projects. You will be the first point of contact for engineering questions for customers and owners.

 

As Design Engineer your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Creation of mechanical and electrical CAD documents for consoles
  • Review of specifications and technical framework of orders and offers - Manage technical solutions in medium or large sized engineering in customer delivery projects
  • Report projects status and results with adequate conclusions and recommendations
  • Identify, mitigate, monitor and report risks in own responsibility areas
  • Cooperate with relevant internal and external partners(e.g. ship yards, ship owners, production sites, officials, etc…).

 

You will shine in this role when you have:

 

  • Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor or Master in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Min. 7+ years in construction (CAD systems)
  • Willingness to work in teams
  • Fluent in English and German (minimum B2 level)
  • Experienced handling with CAD tools (preferred Solid Works and ePlan)
  • Advanced knowledge in navigation and bridge systems with its products
  • Based knowledge with SAP
     

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 5%.
