We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dual Student Development Engineer (Duales Studium) (m/f/d) to join our team in Hamburg through the dual Studies program at TUHH (Technische Universität Hamburg). This position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while pursuing academic studies in Computer Science or Informatik Ingenieurwesen. The ideal candidate will assist in application development, research, testing, and quality assurance, contributing to innovative solutions in navigation systems. The studies at TUHH are in German language – we are open to talk in English or German with you.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Application Development:
 

• Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging applications.
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement software solutions for navigation systems.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

Research and Innovation:
 

• Support the team in researching new technologies and methodologies in navigation systems.
• Research the latest trends in React, TypeScript, and Azure Cloud services to integrate modern technologies into existing systems.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and research papers.

Testing and Quality Assurance:
 

• Perform unit and integration testing to identify and fix software defects.
• Assist in the development and execution of test plans.

Learning and Development:
 

• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in application development and navigation technologies.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops as required.

Qualifications:
 

You have a German “Abitur” (High School Degree) and live in Germany planning to join the partnership program Dual Student at the TUHH (https://dual.tuhh.de/) with enrolment in one of the following courses:
 

• Computer Science
• Informatik Ingenieurwesen

The study program is based in Hamburg, Germany. It’s necessary to live or move to the Hamburg Area as it’s a full-time study program.
