Industrial Bearings - Head of Sales

 

We are now looking for an experienced and dynamic

 

Head of Sales - Industrial Bearings (m/f/d)

 

to join our team working for a better future. 

 

The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg (Germany).

 

What you will be doing 

 

In this critical leadership role, you will develop and execute global sales strategies, drive commercial performance, and manage a high-performing team of Regional Sales Managers across key international markets including North America, Europe, China, and Japan.

 

As Head of Sales - Industrial Bearing, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Lead and manage a global team of Regional Sales Managers, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with major industrial customers and key stakeholders.
  • Provide expert commercial insights, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favorable outcomes and compliance with organizational objectives.
  • Regularly report sales performance and market conditions to senior management.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

 

  • Minimum of 10 years' commercial experience within the power generation industry, preferably with a turbine OEM (e.g. Siemens Energy, General Electric), a turbine maintenance organization, or competitors such as Waukesha Bearings, Kingsbury, or Miba or similar 
  • Engineering or technical background would be a plus
  • Proven track record in leading successful sales teams in international settings.
  • Deep understanding of industrial turbine markets and customer requirements.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in German - both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required. 

 

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 60-80%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
