We are looking for a

 

Logistics Specialist (m/f/d)

 

with a main responsibility in warehouse inbound/outbound, customs and transport organization. The preferred location for this position is in Hamburg, Germany.
 
Your role and responsibilities 

 

As a Logistics Specialist your work will include all logistics related task. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of Voyage Logistics team in Hamburg with diverse expertise.  

 

Requirements for the position 


As Logistics Specialist you will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure smooth export/import operations by communication with customs agents transport companies and logistical service providers and ensure legal compliance
  • Provide shipment requirement completion:

               - Prepare the main documentary set of shipments (invoices, packing lists, export declarations), 

               - Cooperate with Project Manager, Warehouse manager/team leader, export compliance specialist with regard to shipment requirement completion

                 (packing requirements, delivery modes and opportunities, documents needed etc.) 

  • Claim settling with transport companies
  • Working closely with production planning
  • Assisting with SAP bookings for goods receipt and post goods issue
  • Monitoring deliveries and ensure deliveries are in time 
  • Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively 
  • Adhering to company health and safety rules and necessary legislation.
  • Actively working on your own development and professional skills.
  • Ad hoc duties as reasonably required.
  • Report, communicate and escalate timely on changes/suggestions/problems 
  • The responsibilities listed are illustrative and not exhaustive, and management may designate further reasonable tasks where needed.

 

As an ideal candidate you might also have… 

 

  • +3 years of qualified knowledge in shipping, customs and/or logistics
  • good Microsoft Office skills (especially MS Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) 
  • Experience of logistics order processing in SAP is a must 
  • Sense of initiative, business mindset, result-oriented, ability to work under pressure, Stress-resistant
  • Good organisational skills plus a hands-on mentality.
