Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

 

to join our team working for a better future. 

 

The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg, Germany.

 

What you will be doing 

 

As Mechanical Design Engineer your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Development of new and maintenance of existing mechanical hardware for maritime navigation radars, in particular:
    • Creating CAD models with SolidWorks
    • Maintenance of documents and production data in SAP
    • Further development of existing mechanical designs under performance and cost aspects
  • Creation of test- and assembly instructions for own production as well as external suppliers
  • Interface to internal customers such as purchasing, project planning, manufacturing, customer service and documentation
  • Interface towards the electrical design engineers for the mechanical integration of electrical parts

 

To be successful in this role we expect you to have: 

 

  • Completed studies in mechanical engineering (B.Sc, M.Sc) with a focus on computer aided design engineering or comparable education
  • App. 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in design and organization of mechanical assemblies
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, ideally also in the maritime environment (IEC)
  • Proficiency in a CAD program like SolidWorks
  • Experience with product development processes and life cycle management
  • English language skills (technical English), both written and spoken
  • German language skills both written and spoken

 

The following will be seen as a plus:

 

  • Knowledge reading and creating high level electrical circuit diagrams with a tool like E-Plan
  • Experience with an ERP system, ideally SAP
  • Experience with a PDM system, ideally TeamCenter

Konstruktionsingenieur mechanische Hardware (m/f/d)

 

zur Erweiterung unseres Teams in Hamburg, Germany.

 

Zu den Hauptaufgaben als Konstruktionsingenieur gehören:

 

  • Pflege und Weiterentwicklung von bestehender mechanischer Hardware von maritimen Navigationsradaren, insbesondere:
    • Erstellung von CAD Modellen mit SolidWorks unter Berücksichtigung von gängigen Normen und schifffahrtsspezifischen Standards
    • Pflege von Dokumenten und Produktionsdaten in SAP
    • Weiterentwicklung von bestehenden mechanischen Bauteilen unter Performance- und Kostengesichtspunkten
    • Bearbeitung von Fragen zu Obsoleszenz und Bauteilverfügbarkeit
  • Erstellung von Prüf- und Montageanweisungen für die eigene Fertigung sowie externe Lieferanten
  • Schnittstelle zu internen Kunden wie Einkauf, Projektierung, Fertigung, Kundenservice und Dokumentation
  • Schnittstellenfunktion innerhalb des Entwicklungsteams für die Integration von elektrischen und mechanischen Komponenten

 

Was wir erwarten:

 

  • Abgeschlossene Hochschul-, Fachhochschul- oder Technikerausbildung der Fachrichtung Maschinenbau mit Fokus auf mechanische Konstruktion oder vergleichbare Ausbildung 
  • 2-3 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung 
  • Gute Kenntnisse in der Konstruktion und Organisation von komplexen Baugruppen
  • Kenntnisse von einschlägigen Normen, idealerweise auch im maritimen Umfeld (IEC
  • Gute Kenntnisse in einem MCAD Programm, idealerweise SolidWork
  • Erfahrung mit dem Produktentstehungsprozess und dem Lebenszyklus-Management von mechanischen Baugruppe
  • Gute Englischkenntnisse  (Technisches Englisch) in Wort und Schrif
  • Gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

 

Von Vorteil sind:

 

  • Kenntnisse im Lesen und Erstellen von elektrischen Schaltplänen, z.B. mit EPlan
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit einem ERP System, idealerweise SAP
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit einem PDM System, idealerweise TeamCenter
